About the art:
Whimsy and humor should touch upon every part of life, whether we are children or adults. By putting animals – squat, awkward, or unusual – in typically human, even grown-up situations, I hope to remind the viewer not to take herself (or anything life throws at her) too seriously.
The illustrations featured here are done in graphite pencil or colored pencils. Most of them measure 8 x 7 or 10 x 7 inches.
